Eskart ushered me to stand aside.

[ESKART] "Make room. He always brings his shop with him..."

[HALE] "Shouldn't we move to the Atrium or bay for this?"

[ESKART] "No. There will be enough room here. It's not like he'll leave anything behind unpaid for."

Eskart breathed in and raised both of his hands. I stood to the side of the wall, watching as a magical circle was formed from thin air on the floor before him. Some queer force began to kick up the tails of his cassock and sleeves as well. I saw Hale scurrying to hold down papers on the map table so they couldn't blow away.

[ESKART] "I summon you Buckled One, who created market and mart, who created trade and barter and retail and commerce. ...I am the Magus of the Artistries; my name is a dial encircled by a blondness."

Slowly, something began to rise from the circle. It was like a slick mass, taking shape from a gooey substance. It raised into the air above, and sparkles of electricity fluttered out from it. Until with a flash... we heard a loud slam against the floor. I opened my eyes and looked to see boxes and crates everywhere. Displays and jewelry cases, wares abundant in every container and jar.

In the middle of it all, I saw a big chair, and a big man seated firmly upon it. His skin was made of gold, and his cap wrapped around himself and his throne. The term 'buckled one' I presumed must have came from his shining belt and boot buckles, which bore his symbol, that of a scale tipped. His head featured one horn that curved up, and his hair was so curly... I thought it was a wig at first.

[NICKLEIM] "Hmm..."

He took the last puff of a fat cigar under his toothbrush mustache, bringing it down to a bud, before flicking it off indiscreetly at my floor.

[NICKLEIM] "Eskart, I was wondering when we'd again meet." He said, his voice gruff and bloated as he was; "What's your business this time?"

[ESKART] "Oh no. It is not me who wishes to barter. My friend here."

I walked up in front of him.

[NICKLEIM] "And you are?"

'My name is Muna. I've summoned you to see what you have to offer as the God of Commerce. I'm grateful you answered the summons and I will pay you handsome-'

[NICKLEIM] "Yeah yeah, I get it. No need to be so verbose. This is a store, not a hangout."

'...Very well.'

[NICKLEIM] "You're a god, there's only one thing I want from other gods. Your Pleromas, your inner gnosis and attachments to the world. Give me that, and only that." He said, rubbing his fingers together at me.
