“Hey, Flint. You in the mood to play a few party games? I figured it would help Cindy get her mind off of school stuff, and W could use the experience.”
He gave you a broad smile, as if he’d been desperately searching for something to do anyway.
“What’d ya have in mind?”

Over the next few hours, you and the others burned through several of the board games, co-op games and competitive multiplayer games you had stashed away for just such occasions.
The board games were perhaps the most balanced of the bunch, as they required equal parts strategy and luck. W had gotten a bit confused during some parts, and would either request help from you or Cindy. Although, she probably would’ve gotten better advice from Flint if she’d bothered asking. He was almost always in the lead in whatever you played.
Due to his complicated condition, the big guy didn’t have to sleep very often, if at all. This gave him more than enough time to master whatever games you had lying around the place. But he was still a good sport about it, and would only gloat occasionally. If anything, Cindy and W didn’t seem to be annoyed by Flint’s winning streak, and instead saw him as an obstacle to overcome.
Card games were a bit more balanced in your favor, since you were confident in your poker face. Flint’s was decent, but there were times where his facial features would shift involuntarily. Cindy was perhaps the most obvious when it came to determining whether she had a good or bad hand. And W…well, you were still trying to figure her out. She was great at concealing her thoughts, but absolutely awful at arranging a useful hand.
At the very least, you were able to fall back on the staple party game that literally anyone could play. Because in Uno, everyone was equal.

You didn’t expect her to pose much of a challenge tonight, but she managed to surprise everyone when you moved onto video games. Fighting games might not have been the best choice or opener for a beginner, but Flint and Cindy were getting so caught up in their rivalry that they almost neglected your new guest.
Now, you weren’t a slouch either, but Flint and Cindy had simply put more time and practice into this game than you had. Unbeknownst to you, the amount of hours that they’d put into it was almost staggering! Maybe Cindy wouldn’t mind getting an extra copy for her dorm…
Anyway, the pair took turns thrashing you and W via tournament rules, switching back and forth with your controllers as everyone attempted to dethrone the current king.
Cindy held the title the longest, preferring to stick to her mischievous playstyle that relied on mix-ups and cross-ups that you often wouldn’t see coming.
Flint was close behind, leaning on the qualities of inherently strong characters that empowered themselves with super armor and relied on devastating command grabs.
