>>5795457It takes you a split second to figure out what's going on, remembering that the new Arbiter's Stand could read your soul or something. You watch as you're nearly killed, narrowly saved by Meloka's Ascension and some quick thinking by Raven. And then, the scenery changes. Again you face that same Arbiter, this time on New Salda during the Siege. Your emerald aura blazing while Ascended, the first time you'd unknowingly used the Champion form. You fight your hardest, yet still come up short, saved at the last moment by the Supreme Kai in the only instance of him arriving before everything was already finished. You then witness your third fight with him where you murdered him on live tv, then the fight with the second Arbiter on Sanghelios, the battle ending in a massive explosion.
Having been within the blast at the time, you hadn't gotten to appreciate how much power that bomb had, but seeing it now and a lot of that blast's power getting pulled into the Bloodstone, merging it with your emerald Berserker power and unleashing a second, smaller green blast that turns the crater into the Soulstone crater. Then the visions end, you blinking then turning to face the Arbiter once more.
“Not once have you taken me seriously.” he says, eyes angry as he glares at you. “You haven't acted as if I was a threat, as if I was “worthy” of your attention this entire fight. I will not tolerate such a disgrace.”
And to your surprise, he throws his weapons down, standing with his arms out to the sides, unarmed and unafraid.
“If I am not worthy to face you, as those brave men were, then I'd rather die.” he declares, his resolve ringing in his voice. “Let my predecessors be remembered as the last Arbiters, so that I don't shame and disgrace their title.”
“It's not about that, I just-” you start, the Arbiter drawing another of those grenades.
“Then, if you won't even do this, I'll do it myself.” he replies, activating the device. “I would rather die than bring shame to my people, and the legacy of the Arbiter.”
Well, what now? What do you do?
>Rush in and take the explosive from him, launch it into the sky and detonate it. Then try and explain the difference between who you were back then and the power you now wield>Try and talk him down. Tell him that just because you're thousands of times stronger than you were when you fought against his predecessors doesn't mean that he's weak, the fact you didn't kill him in this fight is proof enough of his superior strength>Let him know he can take the coward's way out if he wants, but if he really wants to honor his predecessors then he has to get even stronger than he is now. That he has to become strong enough to one day surpass even you>Don't interfere, if he wants to die then you're not going to stop him>Other(write in)
