Riding upon the top of a mighty Kroxigor was pure might. His mount was a creature far more dangerous than a simple horse, for it was a lizard capable of tearing and ripping apart the flesh of men and beast with a simple snap of its neck.
Those mighty claws made it easy for the monster to make its way over obstacles. Skeleton legions and warriors forming to block them were easily ran over by Bok and Lucian’s scythe was able to slay their kind with a sweep of the scythe.
Here they made their way towards the summit. On top of the Temple was what Lucian could describe as the main temple, a holding where the very gods themselves would have resided above their creations.
Their arrival was only in time for the Knight and Kroxigor had crushed through the last resistance. A group of skeletons who were wielding mighty swords and spears in their hands. A mix-match of tools that meant nothing to the two as Lucian quickly cut down those that wielded the spear.
There they crossed into the domain of the Old Ones, and it was glorious.
All about Lucian was fixtures of gold and jewels. The same intricate design of the Lizardmen which stood outside were multiplied and improved a thousandfold through the use of metallurgy and skillful craftsmanship. Many of them the Knight realized were actuals writings scripted across the entire foundation of the place.
In an instant Lucian felt the full weight of Bok move underneath him. The beast suddenly gaining a mind of its own as it charged towards the middle of the facility with the fury of its old gods.
The Knight saw them there. Lying upon the ground was Adok, the Dwarf stripped of his armor wielding only the hammer that he always carried. He looked to have been wasted, tossed aside as foul magics corrupted his very flesh and mind.
As the two of them came across the altar Lucian saw the reason for Bok’s sudden charge. Lying there was Tee-Nee-Tyny, his master, and the vampire of the Von Carstein bloodline.
