>>5346066>>5346069>>5346077"Well, what does it do? Can't go accepting other people's gifts if you had something else in store for me."
"Well, this here is the Axe Of The Gnomes. Since it was one of the remaining, unused spirits of our arsenal, I was hoping that the quaking, unstoppable elementals of the earth would react well to a more aggresive type such as Guts. But since you do have an affinity with earthly spirits, maybe this axe might suit you well." She hands you the weapon for you to feel it's weight.
"It's... Certainly a bit heavy..." You struggle to remain in place as the weapon wobbles around your arms. This is almost as heavy as the Dragonslayer! How is Schierke able to hold it so easily.
"That's because you're not adapting to the elementals, take a closer look."
Several small, humanoid midgets appear to go inside the folds of your clothes as the weight of the weapon because nearly non-existant. This is similar to the trick you used on your halberd for it to remain steady in your struggling body.
"Much like the unseen hand, when it adapts to it's new user, it shifts it's weight so only those worth of lifting it can properly use it. Otherwise, it becomes increasingly heavy to the point of breaking the user's arms in a single swing.
"What else does it do? You said they had something to do with the earth, right?"
"Yeah, but it's best to test this outside, it might do too much damage if you stroke at the ground here."
Leading you outside, you make a fissure into the floor as your mighty strike changes the soil around you. As the tremors increase, the rubble from the trees and the mansion is nearly enough to bring the forest down.
"AN EARTHQUAKE! TAKE COVER!" Puck hides under Isidro's feet.
"HEY! WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO HIDE, THEN?!"
As the earth beneath you finally gives away, you're sent into freefall as you create a crater that sends you several meters down into a rabbit hole.
"VLAD!" Farnese shouts as you disappear into the dark.
However, before you could let go of the axe, it magnetically went back onto your hand, with the gnomes inside your clothes making it move mid air as it connected back into your body defying gravity itself.
Speaking of defying gravity, the rubble from the rocks and soil destroyed in your crater managed to lift you into the air, creating a moving staircase that levitated blocks of the ground into thin air. As you gracefully walked back up, the spiral staircase spun itself around your feet, shifting and swerving like a slithering snake as you commanded where to go with it, walking upside down, at a 90 degree angle, and even jumping around, it seemed like it altered your center of gravity so it only glued you to this surface, until you decided to let go.
