As the handshake started, it had ended. The 20th Primarch shook his head as he seemed to have come with a bounty of realizations within his mind. TalOS could only guess at the thousands of thoughts and realizations that the other Primarch.
With that done TalOS turned towards the work table that he was upon, “So you wish for a Spear, a weapon of old. Such a simple weapon but it can be modified with so many wonders.”
With those words TalOS reached over and started grabbing items from his stash of things. Adamantine blades and energy nodes were the very first thing that he started to gather which began to form into a long weapon head.
“The Guardian Spear, from the one moment I did glance upon it, was based on the Terran Voulge as it was designed to both fire bolter rounds and be a stabbing weapon.”
With those words TalOS TalOS looked at the blade that rested within his hands, “But is that what you wish for brother?”
The other Primarch weighed his thoughts as he looked upon TalOS with a heavy stare. He measured and calculated the facts that he was given free reign over what he could have. Likely within his mind he looked for some long lost lore, as even though he was a Primarch did he really touch the lore of his favored weapon. TalOS surely had, but that was to be expected of a Tech Priest Dominus to learn anything and everything related to weapons.
“I desire an option for range attack, but a bolter will never serve my actions well. I need a weapon, where with a single shot, I eliminate the being who I targeted.”
TalOS thought to himself for a moment as he weighed those words against his knowledge, “There are a plethora of weapons that would do what you wish, but their circumstances are too cumbersome. There is first and foremost the Volcano Lance, but such a weapon is wielded by beings who are even greater than us. There is also the weapon being rediscovered known as the M3 LT4. That one however is much shorter range than the rifle you so desire.”
“But what of things are yet to be made?”
“I will not poison my hands by making something outside of STC regulation. That does not mean we cannot modify what is already known.” TalOS gave a small hum as he realized something, “Stay with me brother and assist. The weapon I shall craft for you shall take days off our lives but it shall be the perfect weapon.”
For a moment TalOS could see a discomfort appear on the man’s face. He was a Primarch though, and such an injury melted away as he realized the chance he held.
“Very well, brother. Where shall we begin?”
