>>5903460Yes. I'm something of a chronic porn addict. So sometimes the idiocy of those habits tends to slip in without me really considering how that affects a narrative. I think Fate Stay Night also started out as like a porn game? And I think more nsfw/lewd plotlines are just much more interesting than stale plots with no life or spiciness to them. (Too sterile, test tube may be the correct term)
I guess, I'm just trying to find the right balance, to make something, that is both narratively coherent, with maybe some lewd or playful undertones. Its been satisfying to try and make something that has a bit more meat to it than just strictly a porn plot.
I appreciate everyones patience with this. I'll do my best to keep following the vibe everyone wants. I do read other quests from time to time. Though its fair to say I have my own ideas about things too. For example a lot of quests I feel, at least trying to read into them are uh.. Hard to parse, it's hard to sort of get past that initial dryness. But again, I understand the need for such dryness in more narrative/worldbuildy type plots. Or ones that play more like an interactive game etc...
>>5903252>>5903424>>5903441Looking over her work, it's hard to deny the hours of painstaking craftsmanship that must've gone into these things. Muffin isn't fucking around. She clearly wants to help us. You see all the wires, bits of scrap laying around the hidden library workshop. There are some books and bits of scattered notes, some shelves, a whiteboard with various notes. The books are mainly related to magitech design, you recognize the covers as you have the same textbooks in your bag. Still, Virgil will hardly be pleased. This sort of intimacy with... Well self-defense implies a level of readiness and competency which may be viewed negatively by the mages who want us entirely defenseless and servile at all times.
"Won't Virgil be mad if he sees this?"
Muffin looks down. You notice her hands have some callouses on them. A few cuts too. "He will... But it's fine! As long as nobody finds out... I'm sure I can get more than just the proto-types working, and if I can... It'll change everything for us, we can actually start defending ourselves against mage warfare!"
"This is serious business, magitech designs like these, while rudimentary would still cost thousands of dollars. You can't readily buy anything like this without spending a light fortune on it. It'd be like buying a car!"
"I know! But thats why, maybe we as Magitech wizards need to make a cheaper and more affordable product! If we graduate from Astra... We could change this world for the better, make things that truly revolutionize our day to day lives, without having to live in total fear from the mage-class..."
You look over her handiwork.
