>>5717123"Lord Colonel… As I was going to say, cool your head and stay silent." Tirion Fordring said as he started to collect his papers and scrolls. "Because you are a very lucky man."
"Lucky, what do you mean?" He asked the paladin back.
"What you witnessed was a masterclass example of holding one's tongue and feelings back. Till you decided to call him a manwhore, he had no valid reason to reveal them. He kept them in check." Fordring told him. "You should learn from him.
"Lucky for missing that?" Garithos asked the paladin back, missing the lesson completely.
"If you are really that blind for wanting to ruin the work Lord Uther has put together in the past two years, then you missed him holding his hand on the hilt of his sword the whole time." Fordring said back with disappointment trickling into his voice. "You are very lucky he didn't leave this room with your head, because I don't think no one, me included, could have stopped that if he had wanted to do so."
Fordring was right! You had noticed that when Alric stood up, he had been ready to draw his sword at the moment's notice.
"Lord Fordring is right." You said and got everyone's attention. "I know Alric, and I have never seen him as angry as we just saw him"
"Angry? Well I hope I will never see him furious then." Marshal Redpath said. "This meeting is over?"
"Yes, unless anyone has anything to say, we are done." Fordring said back to the Marshal.
The Magistrate and the Mayor started to speak something with the paladin, but you didn’t listen to them. Your mind was with Alric, you were concerned about him, maybe he needed a friend to be with him after all this? He was probably fine, but still.
"Jaina." Arthas said and touched your sleeve as he stood up.
You had planned to eat dinner with him, but you weren't so sure now. Arthas had been acting real immature since he had seen Alric and it put you into a bit of a sour mood. How can normally such a pleasant, nice and caring man act like that?
>The dinner can wait till another day, go find Alric and see how he is doing.>Go have dinner with Arthas, after all you promised to go for one with him. Maybe you could talk with him about all this?>Decline the dinner, you need some time alone to think.>Other, write in.
