"I'm altering the deal! Pray I don't alter it further!" The gorgon snaps back, slithering out of the arena. You open your eyes now that it seems safe to, looking awkwardly between the two arguing parties. "Besides, I didn't even get anything out of it yet. I should have just asked for my payment up front, you greedy hag!" She hisses out.
You step out of the arena to approach the bickering duo again, bowing to Medusa. "Sorry if I hit you too hard. I hope your Curse gets lifted soon, I know how troublesome they can be. There's a guy in Central City that runs a business called Demons Will Weep, he might be able to help you with it - he helped me get rid of the Living Curse we ran into a while back." You apologize while offering her information that may lead to an improvement of her situation. Baba freezes, before turning to look at you slowly.
"D-Don't you know when to shut up? How am I supposed to keep a business running if you just give away information like that!" She chides you, clearly irritated at what you revealed. You rub the back of your head sheepishly.
"It's in the newspaper, anyone could read about it?" You reply as your excuse.
"I suppose I can forgive you for the bruises...thanks for the tip, catman. And good luck with the rest of the fighters! They've been at this a lot longer than I have." Medusa cuts in to thank you, before heading off to one of the buildings of the palace to collect her belongings presumably.
Baba grumbles a bunch of nonsense under her breath in impotent anger before speaking up again, this time raising a hand up to shoot a bolt of magical energy at the sky, which instantly forms into a darkly overcast cloudy sky. "Terrible employees quitting aside, it's time for my next fighter! Rise from your grave, Fangs the Vampire!" She calls out, a flash of lightning cracking against the sky. From the shadowed interior of the building further along Baba's palace, an almost emaciated and crazed looking figure starts to stalk out, before stopping in the center of the arena.
You can't feel this one's ki at all, so it's hard for you to judge just how strong he may or may not be...but if he's the second fighter, he's bound to be trickier than the one before. Besides, Vampires are supposed to have a lot of powers that are difficult for most people to deal with...the only question is how you want to handle this.
>Liberally use the Sandakoru to call lightning down on him specifically. The clouds shield him from the sun, but clouds are one of your best friends these days!
>Break the clouds apart to let the sun shine on him. You're not sure if it'll be as dangerous to him as the legends say, but it might reduce the power available to him if nothing else.
>Just beat him up the normal way, fair and square!
>Something else?
