The girl blinks, and then chortles, before busting out into a laugh from sheer surprise. You smile back, she seemed to like it. You had to be a little careful being at work and all, but you're glad she has a sense of humor. She's one of those "quirky" girls. But you instantly feel that shes hanging onto it a little too long, trying to make you feel good or like a funny guy, trying to show that she likes you; after all, you still have something she wants. It's not something that offends you deeply or shows that she's fake, but it is something to look out for. She's manipulating you in the same way everyone does when they have something they want.

The mysterious girl, who you later learn is named Sam, has ended up getting you involved in her local team of paranormal investigators- or so it seems. The group is decent mix of men and women, most a little younger then you, collage kids. They invite you to meet up in a well known campsite not too far out of town. They mentioned something about a local legend, but once you get there, you get a much different vibe.
