>>5503873Congrats, man! Savor that feeling and bring it into your next thread!
>>5503613Husbando Tourney was fantastic and Indo was a goddamn SAINT for running it, but
>>5503629 is correct--the dice rolls weren't as engaging as the votes from the Waifu Tourney.
That said, the Waifu Tourney had its issues as well with samefags and the inherent popularity of some quests over others.
I think if anyone were to run one again (and if you do all power to ya, both Waifu and Husbandos seemed miserable to run) I think there'd have to be some kind of middle ground in voting and events--I like what
>>5503618 suggested, but that'd mean whoever runs it would either have to get the contestant's QM involved and/or have a pretty decent understanding of the quest to properly portray the contestants. No small feat! Still, it'd be doable with a little cooperation. I just can't help but smile at cross-quest interaction--though the tourneys both caused some grief and were pretty hectic, the art, laughs, QM and Player interactions, and overall spirit was probably some of the most fun I've ever had on this board and I'd love to see another, even if I was just a spectator.
/v/ has its King/Queen of /v/ events and we even have that 4chan Cup one anon suggested one time that we didn't enter... I'm sure there's a way to run something fun and equitable with a little ingenuity and research. I'm done with my quest for a while so I'd be happy to assist if someone took the mantle! Hell, I'll do some research right now!
