In the Chaos Lucian looked around himself. So many men and people dying across all forms of travesty. The sailors were being killed by the undead who rose, Lucian witnessing the last stand of the Captain as the man attempted to fight off the undead. He witnessed as Bok with one hand cradled the fallen Tee-Nee-Tyny while also fighting off the giant sea monster with the other hand.
His hatred full, yet hatred always fades. As he looked upon his fellows he knew what needed to be done. The scythe in hand Lucian tried to gain his bearing upon the ship, his eyes staring at the chaos happening closest to him.
“Captain!” Lucian shouted as he slammed his weapon towards the undead. The sheer shockwave was enough to shatter the winds of Shysh that acted as their bindings, “Safety! Where is Safety!?”
“tenders!” Shouted the man as he pointed at one of the small boats that landed on the vessel, “GET AT tender!”
Seeing what he needed, the Knight knew what he needed to do. His eyes looking across the ship for those who he could save. So much of it was destroyed in a single blast that the Knight had to regain some understanding of the ship’s structure. He was no sailor and he was not married to the vessel, so the Knight had to ask the Gods themselves, no matter how fickle, to guide his scythe.
In the green moonlight Lucian saw it. A single shadow from the clouds above in this green bleach of the world. Rushing towards it Lucian felt his heart struggle and his breath become haggard. The beating, oh the beating of the heart, was thumping against his neck and slamming into his plate.
“SHATTER!” He shouted while striking the deck and turning it into a hole that dug deeper into the vessel. Lucian could see Adok trying to get himself up but falling from one side of the room to the other. He stumbled like a newborn, the seas wrecking his senses.
Without another thought Lucian jumped down into the deck below. Water ran up to his knees already and more water was coming in. He could not think, only acted as he grabbed Adok at the elbow and lifted him.
“L-Lucian?” He asked confused as he tried to get his footing in water that was up to his stomach.
“You are not dying here!” Lucian declared as he hefted the Dwarf forward towards the stairs of this level.
