The interior lobby is vast, being able to hold Astamon without overheating. You look up and see an array of smaller partitions at the top of the branching stairwell. Junk data stinks up the place, and is dripping from several channels along the walls that lead to the outside. They're too small to crawl through, but they remind you of the mail tubes in the radar partition.
<span class="mu-s">"Ew. What's going on there?"</span> Your partner asks, motioning to the leak with his gun.
"It looks like that's where data was meant to enter. This was an important office, I guess it processes the input from the district."
<span class="mu-s">"And it's all been disrupted. Right."</span>
This is definitely DarkTyrannomon's lair, but he doesn't seem to be lingering in this part of the lobby. He could only be higher up. You quickly reason out that there must be a way to access this building from the outside. If he's been here the whole time, then there must be a line of communication between him and his Digimon commanders, and that requires a window. He doesn't seem like he can use technology either, unless he's kidnapped another Code Cracker like Doc, so calling them is out of the question.
You could capitalize on this hypothetical window to skip the climb, at risk of encountering an enemy.
>Climb from the inside. This will take more time, and you no longer have the luxury of it. You'll need to slowly ascend through the levels, checking for Digimon guards and dealing with storage space limits that might force your partner into weaker forms. However, whatever is in here might be safer than the known threats outside.
>Go back out and look for a way up this building. There has to be a balcony or partition entrance that will let you skip the climb. You don't have time to be digging through rooms and ascending the slow way, you want to reach the top as soon as possible. However, dangerous flying Digimon are lingering on the outside, you might attract their attention if you climb, no matter how stealthy you try to be.
