>Return Bonsai acquired! (-200 G)You get ready to leave the store when the shopkeeper speaks up.
>"Y'know, I've had those bonsai up here for the entire last year, and you're the first person to buy one. People too focused on hunger and war and whatnot to go adventuring in dungeons like we old folk did when we were kids I suppose.">"...">"The silent treatment huh? If you're going to go adventuring you should open up a little to others, have a little fun y'know?">"...uh huh."You leave the store.
Your quest now officially begins. You have your equipment, a new monster pet, and a plan. Mr Nikolai suggested Little Princess may be in Leazas, and that definitely would make sense. You decide that your new plan is to go to Leazas and investigate. Only problem is, how to get there. It's not too far away, however there are two huge obstacles in the way, the mountain line between Helman and Leazas, and the Shangri-La desert that connects all four countries.
You're sure you can walk to Volgo Z, Helman's most prospering metropolis, by foot, should only take about a day. However, to get to Leazas you'd either have to also walk by foot all the way through the mountains, which could take days, or you could hire a cow carriage to take you either to the city of Rich through the desert, or to the city of Maunes through the mountains. Walking through Shangri-La isn't an option, you've heard the stories of refugees from Helman and Zeth dying only a few hours after entering the desert, only a few people seem to know their way through there, and you're not one of them.
What do you do once you get to Volgo Z?
>Go through the mountains by foot, risky but maybe you can kill some monsters on the way (2-3 days of travel)>Kill some monsters outside of town until nighttime and hire a carriage to go through the mountains, should arrive in the morning (12 hours of travel)>Spend two days killing monsters outside of town and hire a carriage to go through Shangri-La (5 hours of travel)
