You wonder if Lulu could convince the clown to back down, but considering she his holding the invisible door in place she is a bit busy, and also unable to communicate. Instead, you think to try and distract Pierrot. As Emogen and the monochrome man size each other up, you ask why the clowns are even working together with the robot. Le Chat doesn't seem like the most trustworthy type, nor does it seem to respect your group very much.
"Needed the princess gone." Pierrot says, stepping forward with a thrust. Emogen doesn't even try to dodge it but instead rushes him, swinging her free hand to his arm. Perhaps her brazen disregard spooked him out of the strike, because Pierrot backs off just in time from the attempted grab. "...Also, No one respects clowns. It's in the name."
You tell him it sounds like Lulu is going to get experimented on, and who knows if they'll keep her around after that.
"Longer than she'll live here, if things go to plan." Perriot says, giving a few testing jabs forward with his knife. Emogen only flinches at the first few, and as he pulls back she steps in, giving the cleaver a few good swings. The clown side steps an overhead strike from your co-worker. The clown uses your co-workers own momentum against her and thrusts the knife forward. She swings her arm around in a backfist. Pierrot is knocked back onto the floor, but the knife stays stuck in her shoulder. You give an automatic cry of concern and try to go to her, but she holds up a hand to stop you.
"Give up, little man?" Emogen says triumphantly, Wincing as she tugs the knife out of her shoulder and tosses it aside. To your surprise, the kitchen knife didn't seem to draw as much blood as you thought it would.
Pierrot grunts. Pierrot stands up, dusts himself off, and pulls out a M1911.
Emogen charges but you aren't sure she'll reach him in time before he can fire. That might not be the biggest problem however, as Pierrot isn't looking at her, Pierrot is looking towards the Princess, and as if in slow motion you can see him adjusting his aim.
