Will be posting in a bit, but if anyone cares to roll you can, for the effort to go exploring since that seems to be a slight majority? To see what you may be able to find, the better roll the more impressive your discovery.
>>5373421>1 or 3>>5373609>3>>5373916>2 or 5>>5374276>4 or 5Seems then like a tie between 3 or 5. I'll give anyone else a chance to weigh in for a majority, for awhile longer (maybe until the post after next) otherwise I can toss a coin.
>>5374252It's worth noting that victory against Idaios was possible, you aren't so far apart in power. If anyone had rolled in the range of a 90+ or so you would have beat him. Not an easy challenge but not impossible.
As for divinity, it's fair to assume that the merman king is the big fish in the pond around these parts so to speak, but that's only the seas of this region. Land, remains utterly untapped by him, something which is a possible resource to you, if you so desired. An example being, a bit meta sense of knowledge, but among the humans Faysal has at least 10 divinity, not just 1 or 2. Heroic or renown figures can range up to 10, and royalty can also range up to that much, usually. So a heroic king could reach upwards of 20-30 or more. Not that there's an abundance of heroic kings wandering around, and not that humans are generally a worthwhile divine source, but the point is the land is a resource open to you.
>>5374276I can answer some, sure.
>Same as your mother, you've lost contact with them. Although you had many siblings so it seems unlikely they all would have passed on, but then it also has been thousands of years. >You are decently experienced at manipulating divinity, for example it is how you travel through the sea at such a pace, or channel water as a weapon. You never bothered much with experimenting because you didn't need to, but you absolutely can try or suggest things, and with a roll you may surprise yourself with what you're capable of.>The 100+10 represents your divinity so if you spend it then your value will decrease. Most of the time at least, some things don't drain from your power such as what is imparted to offspring. Worth remembering though that, as you've seen in the quest so far, probably the *vast* majority of the time you aren't needing 100+10 power to succeed or get things done. >You don't know how many cursed there are but you can always call out to the sea and summon them to you, assuming they are the sort of cursed you have control over.>On the matter of magic, divinity utterly eclipses it. It's not that you never bothered, and in fact you are capable of magic if you want. It's just more like, why would you start a fire with a lighter when you have a flamethrower?
