You apologize again, and say that your daughter is pretty sickly and hasn't really had a chance to socialize. Tamako seems to have taken a liking to her. Something you can certainly appreciate.
"She really is quite adorable isn't she?" Kamiko says looking down at the girl smiling.
"True, true." Tamako says nodding sagely.
You ask if you... If Tamako can get her number, just to chat with her again sometime.
You see a slight pink come to the ladies cheeks as she pulls out her phone and stammers out, "I-I suppose I could do that."
After you exchange numbers you bid Kamiko farewell and continue with your shopping trip.
You glance down at your cart and see Tamako giving you quite the smirk.
"Aren't you going to thank me? Praise me? I got us a mommy."
You are certainly thankful, and ask her if she wants a treat. Maybe some ice cream?
"Hmm... Can I have that cake that they always have in the shows? The white one with the strawberry on top?"
As you cruise over to the bakery section, you ask Tamako why she seems so dead-set on having a mother. Not that you are complaining or anything.
"Well, all the protags in the anime have mothers. A lot don't have fathers, at least ones that are there with them... But they do have mothers!" She says, and then after a moment continues, "Thanks for not dying or going on a journey to prove your worth or whatever."
You tell her she's welcome, and after a moment she adds, "Hey, if you were a spy you'd tell me right?"
You remark that your job isn't nearly that cool.
You pick up a 'Fraiser' cake slice. You aren't sure it's exactly the same thing as those ones in anime, but it's not like she'll know the difference.
You ask your weeb child why she picked Kamiko in particular.
"Because she was super beautiful and super strong. She's very heroine's mother material." Tamako replies.
You can't exactly argue either of those points. She was both attractive and close to if not seven feet tall.
"I wanna be cool like her. She had a lot of meat in her cart, that and bread and wine. I want meat, bread, and wine!"
You remind her that you are having ramen tonight.
"Oh yeah, well some other time then."
