>>5451839The pairs gather up around the start of the Field of Dreams. It’s quite a pretty area, decorated in pastels and softer architecture, most of it padded in some way. And while it looks like a relatively simple obstacle course, especially for the folks you have in this competition, it does have a couple little twists to it. “Minotia, why don’t you tell these lovely ladies and lads what this challenge entails?” Cocoa asks.
The boy floats above everyone. “Each group has to make it to the end together, sent in one pair at a time! There are a total of 5 major obstacles each couple must cross through, meaning if they get out unscathed, this first round has a total of 6 points for all teams that clear it! However, to make this more fair, those of you who can fly are asked to stay on the ground for the duration of the course. And lastly, each couple must make it through together, hand in hand!”
“…Also should go without saying, but destroying equipment is not allowed. No matter how punchable that clown at the end might look.” You add, the obstacle in question popping up and letting out an annoying giggle. It’s set in a series of holes like a giant whack-a-mole, popping out at random to try and knock participants off the platform.
The teams look eager now. While no flying is allowed, there’s nothing about using other abilities to get through this. They’ll go through in order of the listed teams at the start. Things are ready…
