“I see, your request here within the War Council is a reasonable one.” Guilliman announced as he did his own calculations, “I am sure the Priests of the Mechanicum have a reasonable amount of worlds already counted?”
TalOS held a little laugh within his mind upon those specific use of words. Guilliman was not going to let the Mechanicum run away with several hundred worlds under the pretense of production capability. Thus TalOS needed to counter the offer.
“There are a series of worlds with low human populations that were mining worlds in the time of the Federation. We think these worlds should be reactivated for the purposes of the war effort.” TalOS said back as he himself thought it was a reasonable matter.
“Even Chemos became a mecha of enlightenment as my hands touched upon it.” Fulgrim said as he grew a slime smile, “These are worlds that Mankind still inhabit, won’t the Mechanicum turn those worlds into nothing but Servitors and Machine Men? I would think it a waste of human life and a betrayal of our vows to those people if we allowed the Mechanicum to do this.”
Fulgrim, even as he caused so much chaos within the room, still had a mind of reason upon his shoulders. He knew for a fact that many of their brothers were those that followed a code, thus he leveraged it.”
The one to speak next was Vulkan with what was a sense of hesitation, “Our brother is right, we cannot forsake our vows for such a gain.”
Two voiced their opinion and while studying the room TalOS saw the faces of the others. Guilliman looked to be tied between a rock and a hard place while those of Dorn and Leman did not seem to have much care. Horus kept a smile as a mask, for it seemed he was feeling more envy at the moment than to care for the lives of men.
Magnus did not really seem to care, but TalOS knew that his agreement with his brother to share knowledge was going to make him edge in his direction.
As for the Emperor, TalOS sensed that his Father was more curious in what was going to happen instead of the issue itself. He was studying in a way that he might be seeking to root out problem bodies even now.
Thus TalOS needed to consider a counter offer.
>What if we only do Worlds with mutants
>The Mechanicum will pay those on the worlds to fuck off
>It will not be efficient, but we can just use barren worlds.
>Keep this ground and force them to accept it.
