>>5444401>>5445642I'll +1 to this. Mutant! is a treat... when this bastard's RUNNING IT, that is...
>If your quest got an IRL adaptation, what form of media would you have it in?As cool as a Bones Comic would be, I think if we're going totally fantastical I'd have to give it to a Character Action Game ala Devil May Cry with a lot of stupid slice of life shit sandwiched in between. If you really wanted to go crazy with it you could have some BONEus levels playing as other characters, too. Even ignoring Stan's demonic pal she made, her fighting style got pretty cuhRAYzee near the end, so it probably works out!
>What kind of alternate universe settings have you thought of for your quest? Alternate routes that never happened? Planned scenes that got cut entirely?Let's see... there was a whole other route if players continued to piss off the doggie bone company, a few others if they worked with some demons, and probably a couple more that I'm forgetting involving character interactions. There was also a huge one if they ran into their old nemesis TIM ahead of schedule, but despite a few issues, Bones went pretty well in terms of rolling...
Naturally the quest would have been MUCH different if players chose to be a male character, not that Stan would change much in personality or intellect.
>To what extent will you bear shitposting/autistic behavior in a quest? Where do you draw the line?I like to think I did a decent job of reining it in on the few occasions it occurred in Bones Quest, but for the most part that behavior was due to genuinely being engaged in the quest, so... yea.
Honestly though, my players were, and I'm not trying to inflate their egos here, absolute GENTLEANONS. Pretty much every discussion was civil and the few disagreements they had were handled with poise, panache, and understanding of each other.
Y-yea, I guess I'm p-proud of them...
