>>5177107>>5177109>>5177110Though your condition is borderline critical, you command Gunpowder to move under Barnham's arms as he attempts to slam his fists on you, dodging and grazing several attacks on his thighs with the back of your lance. He merely assumes you lack the strength to weild your halberd, but in actuality, the sound of rock scratching when you circle around him is indicative of what you are really doing.
By the time he looks down and tries to figure out what the drawing under him says, you activate the spell as a transparent bubble flows from outside of his body, entrapping him and burning Barnham's body from the outside in, the electrocution from being struck directly on his soul is enough to make him convulse as you seize the opportunity, ripping and tearing at his arm like his soldiers did to Zhafira.
You use all of your remaining force incapacitate his left side. Your ire fueling your next attacks as you sink your spear on him and use all 3 sides of your blade to hit him in different places, sticking your short sword and dragging it across his shoulder to make sure it cuts his ribcage too.
"What is this? Why can't I move?" Barnham struggles to escape as he becomes a sitting duck to your berserker barrage, but with your energy failing, so will your magic spell.
The bubble grows smaller around the bear apostle as he pops it by clawing at nothing. Seeing how his arm is nearly destroyed, Barnham believes that the best course of action is to sink his paw deep into his shoulder and rip his own arm right off.
"This is nothing I can't fix by eating some hearts..."
While a suicidal tactic for most, his shoulder is heavy enough to be used as a makeshift club for him, wacking you down as he crushes you under his weight.
Feeling the full force of his blow, you hear your bones shattering as you're paralyzed from the waist down. You can only hope that this isn't permanent...
Thinking of your future in this position is meaningless, with Barnham repeatedly using his removed arm to bash you to the point where you feel all the life going away from your body. Several external fractures are exposed as your bones cut into your skin with each passing slam.
"I... I can't watch this!" Michelle covers her eyes from the stadium as she tears up at the thought of seeing her only remaining family member dying. To her surprise, Barnham picks some elf powder from his fur and rops some of it on you.
"Don't tell me this is where it all ends, Vlad! The greatest fight of my life can't be finished so soon." He gives you some wiggle room for your body to regenerate minor bruises, but not enough time to dodge another crushing blow from him.
