>>6125857>>6126174>>6126282>What ARE you looking for in an apprentice?"I ain't too picky. So long as they got the basic chops an' the willinness to learn, they'll do fine. Hell, they don't even gotta know the basics. Passion for workin' with their hands, tinkerin', hammerin', that sorta thin'. That'll do a lot of heavy liftin' for 'em, at the start."
Mr. Brigit rubs his jaw for a moment longer.
"...Hmm, if ya still need it narrowed down though, I guess I could think of a few more, eh, criteria. They don't gotta be too strong in the arm, though it helps, but good control of their hands would be ideal. Hand-eye-coordination, ya know? An' beyond that... A bright mind. Creative type, someone who don't just see the metal an' bits in front of 'em. Like a... a painter or one a' them sorta abstract thinkers, yeah."
Lorelei scratches her head to think of anyone who fits what he's after, though seems to be drawing a blank for the moment. You don't fare any better. It's not like you know many people to begin with, and even less when they're narrowed down. Looks like you'll have to go on a hunt.
Seeing the both of you silent, Mr. Brigit takes the opportunity to slap his knees and start to stand.
"Welp, I don't reckon I should keep you two much longer, eh? Sorry 'bout all the dust. Just so ya don't get lungs like a smoker, I'll make sure the place gets a touch up 'fore ya come back. Have ah... fun on your quest."
He gives one last amused wheeze as he waves, his tone seeming just a touch brighter than he was when you first came to the store.
