“Why did you banish yourself?” Lucian asked as the group they were following turned direction towards what looked to be another building carved into the cliff face. This one though appeared closer to a building than a manor or fortress from the uneducated eyes of a Peasant Knight.
“Because I’d be damned if I didn’t. Making it an oath was making sure my Father didn’t have an excuse to drag me back to Karak A Karak claiming I was being a fool! I will prove him that I am no fool.”
“And I will be here to help you with that.” Lucian declared as he gave a grin to his fellow, “It was thanks to your craftsmanship that I still stand in the land of the living. I’m guessing you want to go to Albion because thats where you think a Rune might be?”
“You are striking the iron!” Cheered Adok, “Albion is the land of many mysteries, if it's anywhere it is going there. Since we have a Child of the Old Ones with us, I suspect it's more likely than ever!”
“To the Gods them, and may they bless us on our Quest to Albion!” Cheered Lucian.
“Aye, cheers to the Gods!” Laughed Adok in a mighty roar.
Soon after they arrived the group arrived at a massive structure that was apparently a kind of inn that the Dwarfs used for diplomats. The King of the Mountainhold would welcome the Knight and Runesmith to his land, but he was in the middle of other matters for the day.
Tee-Nee-Tyny and Bok had both made their way into an alotted room, both enjoying the heat of the hearth that was stationed there for their use. Neither would be leaving it from Lucian’s point of view. Luckily the Dwarfs were able enough to take Nightshade and Truffles to tac, leaving Lucian and Adok to do what they wished.
It was here the Dwarf suggested they explore, check out the Mountainhold of the Dwarfs.
