Theoretically it'd be hard for a commander to coordinate all the weapons while also using their flare pistol, but...It only takes a moment to shoot off a flare anyways.

They're not multi attack, yes, like they weren't last thread when they actually got worked out more, instead they're an extra attack like machine guns but have the Incendiary rules (ignores cover, double damage to vehicles on critical) and have an extra point of attack to their rolls.

Better to just put it as a picture, because yeah, artillery flares are supposed to be larger.
I mostly made the flare pistol small because they're free, and I'm fully expecting the entire combat zone to be lit up like a Christmas tree as soon as possible, and with like 25+ actions I'm sure that there won't be a shortage of visibility providers.
