Both of them finally remembered that you were still there, and turned to stare down at you.
<span class="mu-s">“I didn’t come here to banish you, Gorgolla. I just need the two of you to break it up before somebody gets hurt.”</span>
Hi-Vo opened his mouth, and you cut him off before he got a chance to say something stupid.
<span class="mu-s">“Someone who <span class="mu-i">isn't</span> 50 feet tall!”</span>
He closed his mouth. You nodded approvingly and turned to look up at the gargoyle.
<span class="mu-s">“Gorgolla, what exactly did you do to warrant ‘banishment'?”</span>
<span class="mu-b">“He tried to take over the world! Multiple times!”</span> Hi-Vo cut in.
You were about to tell the energy creature that you weren't talking to him, when Gorgolla spoke.
<span class="mu-i">“That was a long time ago by human standards.”</span> he reasoned.
<span class="mu-b">“That doesn't make it any better!”</span> Hi-Vo exclaimed.
These two were starting to give you a headache. Maybe you weren't cut out for this “mediation” stuff.
