>>5605719> I will fight you on thatUnderstandable. In truth, I went over the top for a reason - wanted to move Overton window in other direction. The gae direction, and debate how far we could go. They say always start negotiations with the overblown offer, so that what you actually want seems more fair in comparison.
> Point is, once you have the basics, you'll expand your vocabulary easily, and then it's only a matter of time until you start being able to think in a foreign language.Actually, I'm a student of English Philology, I got vocab and thinking down; the problem is that I started with theory.
I've read a couple books on writing about how to do it, watched HOURS of content on how to write, got myself a notebook with WORDs and phrases... But it only made me more conscious of my inadequacies, aware of bad habits, and made me overanalyze each and every sentence and paragraph, meanwhile my perfectionism won't allow me to just look past and get back for rewrites later.
For this reason I'm stressed and burn out fast... And go back to reading more damned theory...
I wish I started actually writing before all that.
Also, I constantly read folk with literal decades of experience; getting to see how much better they fare is yet another blow... And I don't wanna stop reading. Daaaammn iittt!
