>>5864068Dinnertime comes. Father makes a rare trip to the cave, leaving mother to hunt instead. He drops a young deer into the nest, and then leaves to stand guard as night falls. The four of you squabble for food as usual. Today, the meat is split unevenly again. Your eldest sibling claims the largest individual share, but the three of you manage to take all the rest. Their total is less than yours, in an inversion of this morning. And they're furious as a result. Jaws snap down on your vines, and a few are even severed by the savage teeth of your sibling. The new youngest hatchling has a thin one ripped straight from their back, and they cry in alarm. Once all the food is swallowed, your sibling can do nothing but sulk. And that's the end of that, you think.
When it's fully dark, however, you hear a shuffle from ahead. You barely have time to react before your eldest sibling barrels for the three of you, colliding with the current smallest. You recognise that look in their eye again. Killing intent.
Their vines lash against your sibling's, keeping them still while a savage paw presses their neck into the ground. Just as they're about to bite, the other one tackles them away. You follow up by spinning around and whipping the side of the eldest's head with your tail, making it clear that it's three on one. You hope that they'll back down, but it's not enough. In fact, it only seems to infuriate them further. They want one of you dead, and seem set on enforcing it.
You're their next target. The second oldest, who was beaten into submission at the instant of your birth. They hold you in no regard, and quickly dash forward to attack.
Finally. The time has come to fight. You hope that together, you can overthrow this tyrant and beat them down by force. What's your strategy here?
>Lead the charge. You will be at the highest risk of injury, but it'll mean shielding your siblings from the worst of it. You're the largest among them, so you can put up the best fight face-to-face.>Let your siblings go first. You'll pop in where opportune and deliver deliberate attacks. However, they'll likely receive more harm than otherwise. You must let it happen in order to secure victory.>Have all three attack at once, unrelenting. All three will have an equal chance of being hurt badly, and the chaos will give the eldest little time to react. There is a chance that every last one of you receives severe wounds.Your training:
