>>5824874Fingers to your head you focus on your wife's ki, teleporting back to New Salda where she, your daughter, and your son are all gathered on Raven's Island with their uncles and aunts, your siblings all nearing the end of their training under the former Guardian's spirit.
“Daddy!” Meloka Wolbach calls you barely having time to lower your hand before she flies into you like a truck. But you catch your daughter, grinning with fatherly happiness at the joy in her voice. “I missed you.”
“Missed you too kiddo.” you reply, then ask. “Want to see a new kind of explosion?”
“A new explosion?!” she asks excitedly, your wife raising a brow curiously. Even your youngest looks curiously at you, head tilted to the side. “What kind?”
“You'll see, hold on to me.” you reply, holding out your left as you telepathically tell Megumin what's been going on since your father called you. “This might surprise you.”
“Well, if someone thinks they can step to my domain, I'd like to see them try.” your wife responds smugly, yet you can hear the curiosity in her voice too. You know, as an Explosion master, and Explosion savant, your wife will definitely want to see any new explosions.”Whenever you're ready.”
“Hold on tight.” you reply, teleporting the four of you back home by focusing on Chief Hiropon's ki. Reappearing beside the elder and Alimar. Who, a second after you all appear, summons another of the Kuriboh right before your eyes.
“Woah! It's so fluffy!” your daughter calls out, leaping at and squeezing the furred creature. However, in that moment she wasn't controlling her strength, and crushed the Kuriboh in her bare arms, causing it to explode in a puff of smoke. “Wh-Wha...? Oh no, I killed it.”
Which, clearly Alimar wasn't ready for, taking a step back with shocked eyes. He looks from your daughter to you to Megumin and back, completely shocked a three year old was able to crush his summon immediately. But your daughter, completely unperturbed after a couple seconds, turns her attention to the young man.
“Hey! Can you make another one? I promise I'll be more careful!” your daughter asks, clasping her hands together and making her eyes bigger in a technique that has never once, not a single time gotten you to agree to anything she's asked. Ever. Nope, not even once. “Pleeeaaaase?”
And just like several far-stronger men and women before him, Alimar folds, instantly raising his staff. However, as the end glows he doesn't summon another one. Instead, he creates a flute, handing it to her.
“Huh? A tube? Tubes?” she asks, not knowing what it is as she looks it over, curious. “What is this?”
“That is a Flute of Summoning Kuriboh.” he replies, your daughter's eyes widening at the word 'Summoning'. “Just give it a blow, infuse your air with your mana, and you'll create one all your own.”
