You explain you need to cover all options, even if it ends up being wrong. If there is even a small chance of his daughter being in Clownopolis then it should be investigated.
He gives an overexaggerated sigh and says, "I... Suppose that's true. Anything that will help. Come, you wanted to see her room correct?"
You are led up the stairs by the Jester King to Lulu's room. While the color palette is vivid in the castle, it's mostly stuck to a theme of red and black. Lulu's room however, is more pastel candy colored, with plenty of pinks, light blues, mint greens, and shades of cream. The room even has a bit of a sweetly spiced perfume smell. One wall is taken up by a dresser and a door to a bathroom, with a soft, fluffy bed and a mirror on the other. Against the same wall with the bed is a currently open shutter, showing off a walk-in closet full of clothes that span the whole color of the rainbow. Across from the doorway is a french door leading to a balcony, which is currently locked.
Kamiko starts a quick walkthrough of all the rooms, but Emogen and Tamako have other ideas.
Laying on the bed is a brown and white spotted cat dressed like a Jester, with a red and black fool's cap and ruff collar. who is warily eyeing the intruders entering the room.
"Oh cool, a cat!" Tamako says. Walking towards the animal with her hands reaching. "Pet, pet, pet..."
"Awww! It's adorable!" Emogen joins in, drawing her phone out.
The cat bolts through the door as the two strangers invade it's personal space.
The Jester King let's out a chuckle and says, "Sorry, Lulu's cat is a bit shy."
"Does it always wear that lil' outfit around?" Emogen asks.
"Well, she doesn't seem to be here." Kamiko says to you as the other three talk feline. "Though I guess if she was that'd be a bit too easy, huh?"
While the others are distracted, you ask her what she thinks of this daughter. She's at least partly clown, right? Maybe even adopted?
"There is something going on for sure. Perhaps this was the family drama mentioned in the briefing." Your larger co-worker says. "I still think we should get this Mime Queen's perspective on things."
You ask if they should split up. Maybe cover more ground that way?
"I suppose we could. You and Tamako would probably need to be split up though since you are both new to the fae world. Shall I take Tamako, and you can go with Emogen?"
