I was always terrified by those Divider enemies, the lanky stringy ones, as well as those Pregnant belly monsters that exploded into more necromorphs. If you shot the Dividers with the plasma cutter they just kept shrinking into smaller harder-to-aim-and-hit stringy flesh strands and body parts lol which is why I always went down the spam bullets route of upgrading the pulse rifle (just a magazine clip size of 150 eventually kills everything) I think the actual intention was to use the flamethrower against these swarming enemies... but that would require them to get close to you hehe. So in the end, chaingun + massive clip size + running around in circles panting and screaming lol spraying bullets notstop wildly is the best option
