"Go ahead. Hit me. But I'm warning you, unlike Kaido I don't have a habit of collecting weaklings. And unlike Red Hair I'm not merciful. Try me and the thing I'm ripping off will be your head."
Kidd’s grasp loosens until you fall on your feet. He's looking at you dead in the eye and his whole being is shaking.
"Come on. This is your opportunity. Your one chance. You, me, one on one, now. What will it be? What's it going to be "Captain"? Will you live up to your name for once? Or will you run with your tail between your legs until you can get a few meatshields between you and me? The end result will be the same. Except in one you'll get a headstone instead of a mass grave."
There is a moment of silence when an ill wind blows between the two of you. The frog fish-man stares at you like he's expecting a storm to erupt any moment. Yet that doesn't happen as Kidd turns around and shows his back to you.
"Tch. What a load of bull. Seems like you got a bit stuck up since last time we met Cavalier or "Black Hand" or whatever stupid name you pick for yourself next. You forgot one thing... there is no such thing as a fair fight between pirates."
"I know. Fighting me is quite unfair."
"Whatever. Just remember. Not everyone in the world will roll over for you. So you better watch your back."
Kidd then takes his leave, ignoring the food that's being given out in favor of finding his men, some of whom are probably still in here somewhere. And as you watch him walk away Kawamatsu manages to shake off his terror enough to speak.
"What was that?"
"What we pirates call a debate."
"You looked ready to murder each other."
"That would be a heated debate."
You look at him and see that he managed to steady himself pretty well despite his malnourished state. And it's obvious that despite your earlier demonstration he's still pretty willing to fight if necessary.
"Relax. I had my fair share of bloodshed for a while. Despite what I said I do respect him to a degree. He's a man of conviction, who'd kill you if you insulted his aspirations. I can't let my guard down around him."
"That's a relief. For a moment I thought that my homeland fell into the hands of someone even worse than Kaido."
He relaxes a bit but he does not lower his guard.
"May I be so forward as to make an inquiry."
"Depends... what does inquiry mean?"
"U-Uh. I mean I have a question."
"Shoot."
"What will happen now to the land of Wano?"
"Same thing as here. They are free."
"Yes but what does that mean? Who will govern the people? Will you let the rightful shogun take back his position?"
>Sure. So long as he does what I say
>If he can take it
>Rightful? This place is rightfully mine now
>Other?
