I’ll contact you after I’ve done some more digging. I doubt it’s as simple as calling an operator and waiting for them to patch you through to the Thieves Guild.”</span>

<span class="mu-b">“Moving on,”</span> she said quickly, clearly not liking the direction that this conversation was taking. <span class="mu-b">“I also found out a few things about that ‘Orchis’ thing. The Chameleon’s been in contact with them pretty frequently over the past few months. And from what I gather, they’re even more well-connected than the Thieves Guild, and twice as secretive, strangely enough.”</span>

<span class="mu-b">“See, I’m chaining multiple VPNs <span class="mu-i">and</span> a juiced up version of Tor that I coded myself, and I’m pretty sure that a few of the locations that I’ve been using as dummies got raided while I was sniffing around!”</span> Julia said, unable to keep the edge out of her voice. <span class="mu-b">“So I’m pretty confident in saying that I’m fine with abandoning my effort to find out more about them. This shit scares me, B. All it took was a little peek behind the curtain for them to come knocking on my firewalls with a fucking sledgehammer.”</span>
