The Kokabuterimon lunges forward, punching Porcupamon several times in the shins. He responds by swatting at it with a hefty paw and cracking its shell, but the insect doesn't back down. It's exhibiting an intense fighting spirit, even when facing a Digimon that's a level above it. While you deal with the spiders, your partner seems to be having an unusually hard time with the Rookie.

Porcupamon is flung a short distance away by the beetle, who stands there panting in exertion. Tossing a Champion like that is an impressive feat already, but what's more impressive is his unwillingness to back down. As Porcupamon stands and prepares to finish him off, the beetle raises a forearm and gets ready to swing. He hasn't done any damage to your partner yet, and it's clear which way the fight will go.
Your partner lowers his bladed hand.

The Kokabuterimon watches the two of you in confusion. A few of the red bugs are cheering him on from nearby awnings, but he holds up a hand to silence them.

"Not us. We're only here to destroy the guy at the center of it all. Plus, your buddies attacked us first. We'll back off if you answer a few questions. What do you know about DarkTyrannomon?"
