I raised my hand.
[HEUS] "HA HAHA... HHH?"
And I jammed it into my own chest. I gasped in pain. HEUS seemed impressed by the lengths I was willing to go to defy him. His taunt is all too clear. He has the souls of my soldiers, and he's torturing them. He knew I wouldn't attack... not now. I couldn't defeat him yet. I was not powerful enough to yet. He just wanted to rub it into my face. He enjoys inflicting this horror and anger however he can... he's probably counting on it that I'll feel even worse, even more like worthless feces for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and getting Ghole to suffer more now at his hands.
'I'll come back for you.'
Is all I said to Ghole. But the message was for him and for those trapped in the clutches of the Hand of Evil.
And then, I crushed my heart and my body fell dead. I killed my godform... and then opened my eye.
Once upon a time, the dead could not leave the Afterseas. Ghole, who is undead, is bound to it by choice. Now that HEUS is the lord of the Afterseas, he allows the dead to leave, and take Death with them, spreading it everywhere. Only the dead have a chance to leave now. Only the living HEUS allows can come and go.
I was technically deceased now, though I was still animating this material body with my divinity. The Hellhole was open to me now, and I could see the exit. I could sense the land, Hainei.
HEUS' three sickly left fingers twiddled at me.
[HEUS] "I LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT TIME WE SHALL MEET, HORSE. AT THE DEPTHS OF UR, IN MY DEEPEST PLACE. AT THE HEART OF DARKNESS. IT WILL BE OUR LAST..."
I teleported out. The last thing I saw was him staring at me through his mask.
