>>5188341>>5188343>>5188346Running back home, you place the barely awake Jodi in your arms and take her to Hyde.
"It's your girl, keep your eyes on her." He merely nods as he puts his slingshot back in his pockets, directing the group towards Gunpowder.
There is no way to do anything considerably effective against either the spider queen, or the countless harpies without putting you or the others in harm's way, so it's best to let them fight each other out and forget about her incubator.
"I guess this is where we'll be going our ways, old partner." Guts suddenly throws some knives at the harpies in your direction, wanting to compensate for the way he acted before by suddenly playing the hero card, making way for all to escape and protecting Hyde's home from being destroyed.
"You can't be serious! Look at how many there are! You can't possibly take these many all by yourself."
"Maybe you can't. But honestly? I'm rooting for the harpies. Ever fell from high up in the clouds before? Don't think I'll be doing that again so soon after the last time." Guts simply responds as he raises his greatsword into the air, jumping on top of one of the harpies at a ridiculously high altitude, aiming his crossbow at her head to make sure she was always steering at the right direction.
"For Guts, this is just a regular Sunday stroll!" Puck soon joins him, being the pocket medic that Guts always uses in a ditch.
"Why now? We're all going towards the same destination!"
"Not yet. There is someone I need to see."
Before you could ask him who that was, the words he said when he was sleeping made the message very clear.
"Casca..."
You remember her being a strong warrior on her own terms back in Doldrey's, but if she was such a valuable asset to him, what made him only remember her now?
"All that talk about family and what happened to Jodi, it made me realize something... And to be frank, it's also because you're getting on my nerves. I need to be on my own for a little longer. It was nice to catch up though, reminded me that I'm not alone in this war. See you in Albion." Guts bids farewell, awkwardly descending as he shoved his sword on top of the spider queen and started dragging it agross it's head.
You don't have the time to watch the rest of the fight, as Gunpowder starts neighing and refuses to move despite Serpico tugging at his straps. Every one of them are safe in the caravan, so why did Guts have to play so hard to get? You can only hope he defeats them safely...
