You exit the partition in a slightly better state than before. As soon as you're back in the open, you Digivolve Phascomon back into Astamon. He has to be at full fighting strength while you're traveling around. You don't want to risk another ambush now that both sides of the conflict are actively searching.
The City Digimon have moved much further in, and are closing in on your position. You have to get going. Astamon spreads his wings and picks you up, then begins to ascend. His new ability is already coming in handy, and you both want to make the most of it.
Your goal is the central tower of the financial district, where he's certain you'll find DarkTyrannomon. The closer you get, the more convinced you are that he's right. Some strange sense is pulling you inwards, informing you that the dinosaur is waiting within it.
Two flying Digimon spot you as you gain altitude. You get a good look at them before they start accelerating into blurs. The pair are gigantic cats, with steely gray fur, sleek wings, and yellow mohawks. One of them has a face that's as adorable as the rest of its body, with big blue eyes that glare at you cheekily. The other has visible white scleras, making it look terrifying.

Astamon fires at them, but they manage to outspeed the bullets. They make sharp turns and weave across the surrounding buildings, baiting the projectiles into walls by pitching upwards.

<span class="mu-s">"They're searching for us after all."</span> Astamon spits.
You don't want to get caught in a dogfight with these two aerial fighters. Astamon quickly lands on a rooftop where he can stand over you and directly shield you from blows. If they want to get you, they'll have to reveal their ranged attacks, or make swooping passes, giving him the chance to hit back. He makes sure to keep shooting into the air, hoping that his tracking bullets score lucky hits.
The cute Tobucatmon dives low and attempts to blast your partner with beams from its eyes.

Astamon takes the opportunity to shoot right back. The Digimon doesn't even get a moment to regret its move. The bullets rip into the lasers, dispelling them with viral data, then tear into the Digimon's head and delete it instantly. You feel a little sad to see such an adorable creature get killed in that manner, but that just leaves the heinously ugly one to deal with.
