The Agent's face doesn't change a bit. The same knowing smile rests comfortably on her, like a face mask. Neither does D-C453Y's face.
<span class="mu-b">"Why are you writing? I'm just you, after all."</span> D-C453Y matches the same smile. <span class="mu-b">"I think we're smart enough to know that."</span>
<span class="mu-b">"Self examination. It's interesting seeing myself copied. Though I suppose you're examining me all the same."</span>
<span class="mu-b">"Perhaps."</span>
The two stare at each other. Eventually, at the same time, they both look away at each other in disgust before walking away.
NOTES - C-453Y
-You know what happens when you put a mirror against a mirror? Woo. That hurt my brain, haha.
-Her being so candid is weird. People with power only do that if they respect you or they have a card up their sleeve.
-She seems like new blood. You can't even recognize experienced B-Company agents, they just blend into the walls.
-Tries to detach herself from herself. A layer of professionalism. Self reflection is not her strong suit.
-She's about to hide. Not for long, maybe an hour. But she'll be impossible to find. Can't tell you why.
>Talon, Roxy, Salt, Experiment with Judgement
"Ha HA!" Mr. Salt quickly flicks two 9mm rounds onto a nearby table. He grabs onto the scales and holds it up, pointing towards the dog and the drone. Talon to the left and Roxy to the right.
"I SHALL JUDGE THY SINS! LET'S SEE IF DOGS CAN GO TO HEAVEN! OR IF PAPA WAS RIGHT AND DANNY BOY DID GO TO HELL!" For a split moment, you swear he sobbed.
On the right side is a tiny dot of orange light, about a quarter of the size of the orbs you typically see. It glows a lot brighter than the regular orbs.
On the left size is a loose, grey cloud of dust with random letters floating around it. You make out a "T" and "O". After a few moments, the left side lowers as the right side raises up.
<span class="mu-i">A dog has committed no sin. For an animal has no concept of sin. I can not truly judge an innocent soul.</span>
"Eh?" Mr. Salt holds up the scales to his ear. "What was that, sonny? Say that again?" Doesn't seem like his prodding has gotten a response.
"So. That's what a 'soul' looks like?" Talon steps a bit closer to analyze the grey cloud floating around the scale. Her body language has gotten a lot tenser.
"Woof?" Roxy, meanwhile, seems more confused than anything.
NOTES
Mr. Salt
-Never understood why some dogs were way smarter than others. Guess the scales don't care, ha HA!
-The drone 'soul'...it's weird to even consider it a soul. It's just wrong calling it one.
-Seems like it can judge who is more 'innocent'. Could be used to gleam more about a person. Though what attributes are 'sinful'? I dunno!
Talon
-I wonder how Q's soul would look. His layers have been feeling different.
-It felt like something latched into me. I don't like it, feels weird.
Roxy
-Apparently my soul is really good? I'm a good girl? Yay!
-Why was it so tiny, though? I'm a smart girl!
