"Like repairing you?"
"Indeed. Only licensed L'Cure technicians or approved associates of L'Cure may examine, alter, repair, remove or replace the internal components of this model." It rattles off as if it's reading off a script.
Riiighhhtt. Whatever. You snap your fingers to get the Man's attention. "Get the supplies ready."
It takes a few moments but with the Man's help, you get everything needed to clean the android prepared. Degreaser, metal polisher, all purpose cleaner, water, various tools to tighten up anything that's getting too loose, etc etc.
It's time to clean this thing. You have to admit, it probably needed to be cleaned a while ago. A thick layer of dust has settled across its body and its glass reservoir has been smudged with what you think is grease. You're not sure how it got all of this grime on it.
You ask the Man and his best guess is that it's psychosomatic, like most aspects of an anomaly's existence. Regardless, it's time to clean it.
>2 SUCCESSES!
It does feel a bit weird cleaning this thing. It's humanoid and aside from its nozzle arm, most of its body is pretty similar (structurally) to a human. The android is more than happy to relax as you scrub its body from head to toe.
Would this count as a full body massage? You suppose that would be one way to make an anomaly happy? Hoo, you never thought you'd question the logistics of cleaning an android, but here you are.
You do your best to pretend you're cleaning your car instead of a sapient humanoid. This might've taken a lot longer if it wasn't for the Man helping you out but you're making good progress. You idly examine the anomaly's body as you wipe the grime off of its reservoir.
The reservoir, for one, seems to be replacable. The reservoir is screwed into place like a lightbulb in socket, so you could easily loosen it and take away the reservoir completely. You lean in closer to examine the reservoir and you actually spot something scribbled on the inside of its chest cavity.
"REPLACE WITH TYPE-2 'OBSCURA RESERVOIR' 2 PER MONTH. BEST IF TINTED, WINE NEEDS TO BE IN PURE DARK. ONLY USE UNTINTED IF NO OTHER OPTION."
"REPLACE NOZZLE 1 TIME PER MONTH. WINE CORRODES NOZZLE OVER TIME, REDUCES 'POTENCY' OF PRODUCT."
Interesting. As for the rest of its body, while it is a very advanced piece of machinery, repairing it actually seems remarkably easy because of the modular design of its pieces. Every part of its body that isn't the torso or head can easily be removed and replaced at a whim like you're building something out of lego.
Its head is firmly welded to its torso, there's no way to separate the two without basically decapitating the poor thing. The Man whispers to you about another message carved around the android's neck. You lean in to examine it.
Most of it is too faded to read but you make out the following: "BUILT IN PURIFICAZIONE DELLA MEMORIA. ASK FOR GAETANO IF REPAIRS ARE NEEDED."
