You are @non, the rogue. You have a shortsword, a chain shirt, two potions of grease, a potion of sleep, and a scroll of teleportation. You heard from some fat innkeep that there's a tomb just outside the city, and deep in its recesses is the treasure of the sage. He'll keep telling that story for years after you pilfer it.

You enter the tomb. The stone walls are hewn and polished like river stones. Dim lighting is provided by glowing mushrooms creeping along the floor. There are eight statues in this room, depicting long-bearded wise men deep in meditation. One seems carved of a different color stone. There is a door at the far end of the room.
