>>5173944>>5174325"Sounds dangerous, I'd love to!" Is the best you can come up with. Not quite sure how you feel about firearms, but what's the harm? (+5 Noah)
You have some spending money, but can't break the bank today. You've mostly been on pretty casual dates, and want to feel a bit more attractive in that setting. You buy a pair of high-waisted jeans and a few tops with lower necklines than you typically wear. Nothing scandalous, but enough to draw a look here and there.
You head home, get ready for work, and walk into the library at 12:05. Mr. Jagneaux is in the front.
"A little late, Miss Martin."
"Yeah, I don't have a car anymore, and..."
"My wife told me, don't worry about it. But I do need a hand upstairs. We got a big donation, and I could use some help sorting."
"Of course! I'll be right up."
The third floor of the library is the creepy place. As a general rule, you and Elise don't come up here unless Mr. Jagneaux is there. The pointed arches and stained-glass windows streaming light between mountains of dusty, mostly-unsorted books and rejected donations just give a spooky atmosphere.
Besides that, though, not much to say about the upstairs. You're allowed to take books home for yourself for free, if you like, before they become officially library property. You've built your own library this way. Better than chain bookstores!
You spend the whole afternoon and as much of the evening as the light allows working on sorting books into piles. Children. Philosophy. Biography. Classics. Romance. A few tomes, Mr. Jagneaux handles personally, but it's all a blur otherwise.
You get a few texts over the day.

You finish work a bit before sundown. You've got nothing to do this evening, though it is a work day tomorrow. How do you want to spend it?
