>>5201422>It shall become general knowledge>Write in"Theory of the Four Malignant Humours/On the repelling of Warp Xenos"
It is known from captured alien psykers and fragments of information regarding the astropath/nagivator of long range warp travel, a common human psyker strain from the old DaoT warp travel methods that is currently not present in the Lucius system, that the warp reacts strongly to emotions. Based upon psychological data collected not only from humans but of Xenoskind, there are four main malignant humors, that is, four emotional types that most strongly afflict the psyches of most beings. All the sins of flesh and psyche can be categorized by these. They are:
-Phlegmatic = Depressive (Despair, Pessimism, etc)
-Sanguine = Excessive ("Weakness of Flesh", Immorality)
-Choleric = Aggressive (Anger, Hatred, etc.)
-Melancholic = Deceptive (Cowardice, Faithlessness, etc.)
Preliminary data of various Warp Xenos indicate that these four malignant humours appear to attract specific breeds of them.
It is therefore, theorized, that there are powerful Warp Xenos who feed upon these four malignancies. It is therefore the duty of each and every techpriest to be aware of their corruptive influences, to shun them, and dispel their lies! No matter what fanciful titles they give themselves, calling themselves ghosts, spirits, demonic or otherwise they ARE the foe of our blessed Machine God! Do not give them any heed, do not listen to their sweet lies or sour insults. This is the foe from the warp made manifests. . .malicious warp xenos who gather up the power of sin itself within the human psyche.
Repel them as the Fields of the Magos Saint Gellar, steel your mind with the four good traits blessed to men of the Machine God:
-Courage: Be as unto the machine spirit of the Tank, who charges into danger without fear or despair
-Discipline: Be as unto the well tuned transistor, that takes no more energy than it needs, and gives out what it must. Be as unto steel, and shun the weakness of your flesh
-Control: Be as unto the faithful Kastellan, who obeys the command of the good Techpriest to slay when battle is joined, and be still when not, for to kill with wanton abandon is the mark of the Men of Iron
-Loyalty: Be all of you as a faithful tool, who fulfills its purpose within its design, and does not stray from its function. The unreliable tool, the disloyal tool, is worth only to be discarded
