There wasn't much of a reason not to test the armor out immediately was there? While it was somewhat important that Lelouch get to test his own armor too, it was better for you, as the designer, to give the armor the first proper test run. Having Lelouch test it was important in that you'd be able to determine just how ergonomic the design actually was... while you had tried to make the armor relatively simple to operate when it came to the additional functions, there was always the chance that you had a creator's bias towards it. Of course something that you created yourself would be easy for you to operate, so it was somewhat flawed as a test in that regard.

Especially if you were to be caught before forging a proper alliance with the terrorist factions of Japan, at least once you made proper contact with them you would have a proper network backing you up. You might've been able to get Clovis to send you a great deal of high-tech military surplus, but that wasn't exactly sustainable, especially not now that he was being replaced as the Viceroy of Area 11 by your sisters... and even if Euphy wasn't very good at dealing with conflicts like terrorism in terms of defense and military engagements, she had Cornelia with her to ensure that in the future, terrorist attacks would not go nearly as smoothly. Honestly, had Cornelia been in charge of Area 11 instead of Clovis, the uprisings would've all been stomped out nearly as quickly as they rose up, you really did have Clovis' incompetence to thank for allowing you to reach this point. Britannia's weakness is its size, and for the fact that for every competent leader, there were 4 more incompetent sycophants. Of course, not every Viceroy surrounded themselves with yes-men, and there was always the potential that even somebody as incompetent as Clovis could accidentally find somebody actually competent in their employ.

Not in terms of being a heavy weapons platform, of course, as no matter what you did, you wouldn't be capable of surpassing the amount of firepower that a well equipped Knightmare Frame was capable of handling, but there was a reason that Knightmare Frames replaced tanks and other land vehicles as the de-facto kings of the battlefield and that was their increased speed and maneuverability, something that the armor you had developed had in spades.

Of course, just because your armor had the potential to be immensely effective as a weapon... didn't actually mean it would be. There were still a multitude of reasons that somebody might choose a Knightmare Frame over a personal powered suit, the larger size of the Knightmare Frame meant higher caliber weaponry, thicker armor, larger engine sizes, max speed... it was a matter of capacity, and of course a suit that was meant to be worn as a suit of armor was going to lose out to something that could fit dozens of times more mass on it... still, you imagined that the two would likely co-exist in unison with one another if you decided to focus your efforts towards the construction of more powered suits like this. It really depended on just how effective they turned out to be... at the very least, you'd probably end up creating a set of armor to be worn by any ally who you actually trusted and didn't want to be captured, even if they primarily piloted a Knightmare Frame... but just whether or not you'd end up trusting anybody enough to bother with such an endeavor was a question for the future, and allowing the armor to fall into the hands of the Britannians would be a disaster. While you were confident of your own genius, you weren't under the illusion that your work was of such a high quality that it would be impossible for others who excelled in the field of engineering to replicate it if they had something to work off of.

You momentarily exited your armor and pulled out your mobile phone, you might as well get things sorted out immediately, you had no reason to even believe that the Britannians would be monitoring the mobile networks right now, especially not for messages between Britannian highschoolers, anyway... it was a risk using their networks to communicate on, but you doubted you had much to fear unless you made your text to Lelouch super obvious that there was something going on... and that was only if you were actually being actively monitored, anyway. Britannian cyber-security wasn't exactly very good, at least not in Area 11, something else you had to thank Clovis for. Then again, not many of your siblings understood just how terrifyingly powerful that technology could be when it came to running a dictatorship that was impossible to rebel against, creating profiles of every single citizen, monitoring absolutely everyone for any suspicious behavior and targeting them would swiftly bring an end to any guerrilla warfare that might be attempted. Technological surveillance only gets more and more powerful with the usage of security cameras with facial recognition, mobile phones with the ability to listen in on conversation... you were fortunate that everyone was more focused on the comparatively childish pursuit of creating more effective weaponry. Of course, it's not a surprise that weaponry was a priority over surveillance at this point. A terrorist movement was an inconvenience that was assumed to be something that would eventually just get stamped out over time, but the Britannian Empire had both the Chinese and the Europians to worry about, so they really couldn't afford to fall behind a generation when it came to Knightmare Frame technology. It was of course tremendously difficult for an older generation Knightmare Frame to pose a threat to the current generation unless the pilot was either exceptionally skilled, or it had been upgraded to compete with the current generation's capabilities...

Even in the case that one of the 3 started to win out against another, it was only logical that the third uninvolved party would end up intervening on the losing side, causing the attacker to withdraw... fortunate for you at least. Flipping up the screen of your flip-phone, and being momentarily annoyed by the lack of progress with civilian technology compared to the developments you knew that the military had themselves made, you started to use the number pad to type out a message to Lelouch. Your only advantage was that you were starting from a position in which the population of Japan truly reviled their Britannian occupiers, the constant idiotic choices and actions taken by Clovis' administration would not be forgotten or forgiven by the populace for a long time. As for the fifth... you didn't really know if there was a fifth person who was able to outsmart Lelouch by using his own way of thinking against him. You supposed that Nunally would probably be able to do it, but... that didn't exactly feel like a fair comparison, considering that Lelouch would almost certainly just end up giving up if Nunally was truly opposed to him.

Entering an alleyway and exiting your armor once again, you changed the contact on your phone really quick to Milly and sent her a quick text. 'Could you pls go to my workshop and have CC meet me outside the east fence? Tell her bring the thing I made.' Now there was no need to re-enter the school wearing the armor any more than you had to. CC would probably have to wear the armor to get it out of the school easily, but that wasn't too much of a problem. It's not like you designed the armor so that only Lelouch could wear it... though in the future, introducing some sort of countermeasures so that only authorized people could operate it might be a good idea. You had even included his far less effective choice of helmet in the design, as well as his ridiculous cape. Of course, you'd upgraded his original design somewhat, changing his helmet so that he'd have something resembling a Heads-Up Display... of course, it was fairly undeveloped right now, but after a few upgrades, you'd be able to get it so that it could interface with basically anything you wanted it to... you were a little rushed in the creation of the armor so you had to cut corners in some places, but the operating system and internal electronic additional features weren't exactly crucial... though you did wish that you'd created your own suit with the ability to actually make phone calls or send text messages without needing to leave the armor... or at least a pocket so you didn't need to leave the suit whenever you wanted to use your phone... an easy modification to make, but far from crucial... you'd already potentially revolutionized warfare in a day of development, so some flaws in the first models were to be expected... of course, you still needed to see if MERLIN was going to work... it would definitely need at least some work before being operational, but... the idea of an Artificial Intelligence providing support was one you enjoyed indeed. MERLIN if it worked as it was supposed to would definitely end up being a game-changer... though you did still need to get it working... the power drain alone from giving MERLIN anywhere near the level of processing power it would be optimal under was enough to power an entire city block... you might actually end up needing to create a personal Sakuradite reactor just to keep MERLIN operating. But that could wait until the AI was up and running... you didn't even know if it would even work.

Putting your phone back in your pocket and getting back into the armor as you waited for CC to arrive, you wondered what the immortal girl would end up making of your invention, she had been watching you for at least a part of the development, even if your tendency to hyperfocus on your projects made you ignore her presence to some degree... you hoped that she didn't mind that you had a bad tendency to focus as hard as you did. It was a bad habit in that it could very well end up harmful to your health if you went too long without focusing on your own needs... but at the same time, it in combination with your natural affinity for technology allowed you to do stuff in a day that teams of people would require weeks or months to do... a fair trade, if you were being honest.

You knew that keeping your identity a secret was easily the most important objective of all, other than not being killed, anyway. So long as the terrorist known as Omega was never connected to Bastian Ashford, then you'd always be able to continue working against the shadows lurking within Britannia. In truth it was a bit of a risk, creating a whole new terrorist persona, but... you didn't really have much of a choice in the matter, if you wanted power, and you wanted to actually be able to take a stand against the Britannians, you needed manpower and resources, and there was only so much of that you could amass by working nearly independently. What you needed was a group of people who shared the same goals as you, or at least similar goals... that was why in many ways, you had truly been relieved to find Lelouch not only alive and well, but more than happy and willing to work against the Britannians with you, though he was obviously working off of a more personal level than you were, you were able to keep that from interfering too much... you didn't want to imagine what might've ended up happening to Clovis had you not been around to defuse the situation somewhat. Lelouch was a genius... but he could act far too irrationally when he was emotionally compromised, and there was a chance that he could've actually ended up killing Clovis. In fact, he may well have been planning on doing that had you not met up with him and reminded him who the actual enemies were, and that it couldn't have possibly been Clovis who was behind the death of Marianne.

That was the code name Lelouch had chosen for himself, and... while you thought that it sounded a little overly dramatic at the start, considering that you named yourself 'Omega' you didn't really have any room to judge. You were both just fortunate enough that the armor you created was impressive enough that you could get away with giving yourself such names without it looking like two foolish teenagers attempting to sound cool. Honestly, the fact that you were planning on meeting Lelouch behind a Pizza Hut in the first place showed you just how much you needed the support that could only be offered by a group like the terrorists you were meeting later today. An isolated safe-house was a far better place to coordinate actions against the government than an alleyway behind a fast food joint.

You stepped out from behind your cover and nearly made him jump out of his skin at your appearance, though he quickly recovered... wow, scaring Lelouch? That wasn't something that happened very often. "Ah, so you managed to get your armor finished after all. My set is..." He paused as CC got up to stand next to you, before she quickly exited the suit of armor. "Excellent, I take it that it works well then?">"Right. Of course, whether that was down to extreme competence or simply luck, it remained to be seen. "I want to see just what sort of caliber of soldier that we'll have working with us." Of course, it was really only thanks to the input of you and Lelouch that they didn't end up getting wiped out completely... even so with some better tech on their sides, you didn't think it would be that difficult to at least overcome smaller groups of Britannians. A pitched battle commanded by Cornelia however... that wasn't really something that you wanted to engage in.

Lelouch started to quickly move towards his destination and you easily followed, it was obvious even from how he was moving inside the suit that Lelouch wasn't athletic, fortunately the armor was able to take most of the effort of moving, so it was pretty much impossible to tire yourself out while wearing it. You easily kept pace with him regardless anyway, he just didn't appear able to bring the full potential of the armor out... he really needed to work-out more.

We will need to set up a schedule, even if we should be able to create the needed equipment for the mission during this days even in our workshop.
Remind Lelouch that we have also the company affairs, it might be best to think on how to use the Ashford factory.
Concealed factory sections perhaps ? New ones ? We have still to make the debut of the Yeoman too.
For the PAs beside some anti vehicle rocket launcher, some stolen rifles would do nicely. Preferably we don't want this mission to transform in an active combat one, and we should avoid to be seen as cruel.

In the first thread or some shit when Bastion got ambushed by all the Brationian soldiers he used his Geass powers to destroy all the guards communications devices to stun then, in addition to shutting off the lights.
