Your walking along side of the road during the day. You have traveled far in hopes to find a settlement. You are a mighty warrior that carries a sword, and came from the alchemy wars. As the sun sets off in the distance. Your not sure if you want to continue on or make camp

You eat your dry rations, which is hard to stomach. Though you are to hold it down. You sit back at your camp, and close your rest, and sleep for a bit. You wake up after a couple of hours, and get up. You gather your belongings and travel along the road. After a couple of hours of traveling, you see off in the distance, a old stone foundation of what was once a building. You are not sure whether to explore the building, or keep traveling along the road.

You walked towards the ruins, which is surrounded by tall reeds of grass. As you walk to the ruins, you hear the rustling of grass. You turn to look at the sound to see a rabbit scurrying away. You take a deep breath, and continue on to see the foundation is of stone walls and stone floor. The building is empty of debris.

You search the ruins and around it to find outside of the ruined a couple of feet, their is an old rustic sword, and a pouch that jingles.

You go to the tavern, a two story building. You walk in and see commoners sitting at the bar, and at tables. You also see a man in glowing robes sitting alone at a table. You walk up to the bar, and order a drink, and then walk to a table and sit down. You remember the war, as you ransacked the villages killing those who studied alchemy or at least that is what you were told.

The old man sits back in his chair. "what do I think of the alchemy wars. I know Alot of innocent people have died. You see they have been demanding the secrets from the alchemist, and magicians like us. Though I have nothing to worry about as I am a apprentice. Those who do not give the secrets were and are sworn enemies and we're put to death, their tomes and grimiores taken by the church themselves. They have killed enough, but to them they will keep on killing till they get all the secrets or what they call secrets. No I didn't not serve in the alchemy wars. Only the seers serve in the alchemy wars talking to the dead to try to get their secrets.

The man in chain mail, looks at you. Yes we need a message delivered up north to the settlement. It was then he takes a step back, and pulls a scroll case out from underneath the counter. He places the scroll on the counter, and looks at you. "take this scroll north to the settlement, to the church. Give this scroll to the church. " says the man in chain mail.

Ask him how long the journey will take and what should I expect during it.

You keep traveling north for the day, and find the road to be quiet. The sun starts to go down.

To be frank, just a little frustrated and confused with the tone, pacing, direction, and limited options. Seeing if the QM has any care himself or will just write whatever gets suggested. Maybe we'll come back as a servant of the blood god by sacrificing ourself to him.
