You are a demi-god. You are the inheritor of your godly parent's divine will and represent them on the mortal plane. You are a thing of legend, an envoy from the divine realm. It is said that fate itself shudders every-time a demi-god is born, for they are outside the reach of fate's all-encompassing plan. The birth of a demi-god is the birth of a legend. Well... that's at least what they say. You really don't feel all that grand. all you've gotten from being a demi-god is slightly better treatment from your peers in your small goblin tribe. Maybe it's because you're only the son of one of the smallest of the minor gods, but that at least should count for something, right?! You would be happy with a few offerings, a concubine or two, but your shitty tribe doesn't even have anything valuable to offer, or women that aren't already bred. It's not your fault that any self-respecting god would never touch a goblin, let alone one from a small tribe. All it means is that you're missing the love and attention of one of your parents because they're too busy lording over what little mortals worship them. You would trade away all of your divine ancestry for a loving parent. And, now, after being absent from your entire life up to this point, your absentee parent has the gall to appear before you with a divine mission. Being a demi-god really isn't what it's advertised to be... Who is your divine parent?>Slimlack, God of Dung. An extraordinarily minor and gross divine being, he would've dissipated long ago if it weren't for the small pockets of worshipers he receives from the homeless vagrants who dwell in sewers. He protects them from the diseases that come from dung in exchange for their worship. >Rosasia, goddess of wild berries. A minor god that used to be a relatively major god in the hunter gatherer days, however, as society advanced past gathering into farming her prominence fell off the map. Now she's only worshiped by the most primitive goblin tribes in exchange for more plentiful berries. >Koorak, god of mold. A minor god worshiped only by cave-dwelling hermits who subsist off of cave mold. He doesn’t actually do anything since he’s pretty passive. Don’t tell the hermits.

>Rosasia Your mother is Rosasia, goddess of wild berries. Your tribe has worshiped her for generations, relying on her for bountiful harvests of wild berries that they would use for eating, dyes, and even medicine in the case of certain berry variants. Your father used berries to make art on the dried mud walls of his small hut. Your mother, Rosasia, was enthralled by the crude but beautiful art made by your father and descended into the mortal realm to speak with him. Upon meeting her your father fell in love and courted her for 3 days and 3 nights with no sleep working on a portrait of her using wild berries. It is said that Rosasia was so overcome by the beauty of the painting that she ignored your fathers ugliness and brought him into her divine realm where they made you. That painting still stands as a part of your tribe's shrine to Rosasia today. A beautiful image of a goblin woman picking berries off of a bush. You used to stare at it for hours when you were a little gob, hoping that she would come out of the painting and hug you. And now as an adult you've seen your mother. Your mother appeared before you in a dream, faintly smelling of berries and the wild. She was a statuesque human woman wearing a dress of roses with thorns. You were amazed by her beauty, but also felt a little disappointing that she didn't take on the form of a goblin to meet with you. The form of the painting. "My retainer, I need you. My very existence is under threat by forces that I am unable to vanquish. My berry bush is being pulled by its roots. My followers are being slaim. Follow the trail of golden berries and you will find the worshipers under duress. I grant you 3 boons to help you in your journey." What did she give you (Pick 3)?>Berry of Power. When ingested gives you a +10 to all rolls for an encounter >Berry of Stealth. When ingested, it provides nearly perfect camouflage for a day. >Berry of Beauty. When ingested allows you to shed your ugly goblin form for an attractive human males for a few hours. >Berry of Persuasion. When fed to another person leaves them vulnerable to persuasion. >Berry of Life. When this berry touches the ground a field of thorny berry bushes will appear to block the way of enemies. A get out of trouble card >Thorn Sword. An abnormally large thorn similar to a rapier. When wielded by worshipers of Rosasia it can extend its length at will according to the bearer's strength of mind.

Also fun fact if you choose Slimlack it would've been the same story of how they met your parent except it would've been a crazy woman smearing shit all over the walls.

>Thorn Sword >Berry of Power >Berry of Beauty Rosasia waves her hand and three items shine brightly before you; A thorn in the shape of a rapier that's changing it's length seemingly at random, a rainbow colored berry with a soothing scent that makes you all tingly, and a dark red berry that radiates power. She hands the items to you and wakes you from your dream with a loud *CLAP* The items that appeared before your dream were with you when you were awake. In your half-lucid state in the dream you suspected that Rosasia visiting you was just an illusion conjured up by the dream, but with the items in your hands you are now sure it was real. Unsure about what exactly to do with your god's vague command, you decide to visit your tribe's chieftain for guidance and to tell him you're leaving. He's not the smartest goblin in the forest but he's the leader. Quietly walking through the dirt footpaths to avoid waking up your tribe mates you take a deep breath before stepping into the chieftain's mud hut. Your chief is an abnormally large, abnormally ugly, and abnormally mean goblin that's rumored to have some orc in him. He's... not enthused by the prospect of you leaving. Not only would he be losing an able-bodied goblin, he would also lose the prestige of being able to boss around a demi-god. However, while he loathes to see you leave he can't really go against his god and so gives you some sparse supplies and lists off the names of a few goblins that you can take one of. The goblins he lists are the dregs of the tribe of course, but it's something. Who do you take with you?>Zeep. A small, ugly little runt of a goblin. He's too weak to hunt, too stupid to gather, and too small to kill for meat. Only benefit is that he hangs on to your every word. Would do WHATEVER you tell him. >Dog. A goblin who lives on the outskirts of the tribe's forest. A devout worshiper of the Gods of the Wild pantheon which Rosasia is a very very minor member of. Speaks only in barks and screeches as one of his forms of worship. Everyone calls him dog because they have no idea what his name is. >Bud. You don't actually know who this is. The chieftain mentioned his name as one of the people you can take but you have legitimately no idea who he is. When you asked the Chieftain about him he just started laughing really hard. >Write in. Make it shitty.

Out of all the options your chief laid out there's one name that stands out to you, Zeze. Zeze... is a very special goblin to put it lightly. He can't fight, hunt, speak more than two words, or even take care of himself. All he does is make weird tools that don't do anything useful 95% percent of the time in his hut (which is covered in piss and shit by the way). The only reason he's not been beaten to death for being a useless drain on the tribe's resources is that he's the shaman's "apprentice." In reality, though, Zeze, the shaman is more like Zeze's caretaker than master, and only tolerates him because he feels bad for Zeze. When Zeze was a cute little gob, he was apparently a smart and charming little guy who basically led all the other children. That was until his coming of age ceremony where the tribe's shaman fed him the wrong berry concoction as part of the ritual and caused him to have a severe seizure. And now he's what he is now. He'd probably not be a part of the list of goblins you could take if the shaman hadn't died recently. You don't have to worry about him coming with you since it's either getting beaten to death for being an annoyance or coming with you. You hope that he's learned at least a little bit from the shaman and has at least one weird tool that you can use. ... "AAAUAUAAUAUAuAGHHUahh" "UuuUguaahaauuhaaaaaaaahahaa" "I tired." Rosasia's pussy he's annoying. You're half tempted to start trying to beat the retard out of him when the trail of golden berries diverges in three paths. You can vaguely sense what kind of problems each path leads to. You don't really know how, though, probably godly shit. Which path do you take?>Left Path: Warring goblin tribes are fighting a holy war. Rosasia worshippers are losing. >Middle Path: Human settlers are tearing down berry bushes at a rapid rate causing the small goblin tribe to slowly starve. >Right Path: A giant creature is killing the members of a goblin tribe at night.

>Middle Path You decide to take the middle path and help the starving goblins. You've felt starvation before and know it's a terrible way to die. Before you venture on the trek to help them, however, you decide to camp out for the day. You've been walking for quite a while now and you think the Zeze is going to have a seizure if you go any farther. After finding some nice bushes that perfectly camouflage your green goblin skin and make some leaf blankets, you cuddle together with Zeze for warmth. Well... it's more of you laying on top of him using his squishy body for warmth, but he seems to like it for some reason, and stops his usual random spasms. He might like the pressure and the warmth your body gives. ... You wake up in the early morning hours and see...>Roll 1d100 as many as you want for the random encounter.

>98 (I just needed one roll, the others were to see if anyone rolled a crit and then it would count) You see... Loemo God of Wild Chance, distant cousin of Rosasia and the wildcard of the pantheon. He's basically like Loamo, God of Chance, except his rewards and consequences are much more unhinged. One famous story is that of the mighty king that was turned into a coin that screams whenever it's flipped that Loemo uses in his games of chance to this day. Your thoughts are interrupted as a parade suddenly appears all around you. Zeze immediately falls to the floor and starts screaming due to the sensory overload. Loud horns blare, scantily clad elves dance, food is being served, and in the middle of the parade on a stage that appeared out of nowhere is... Loemo. He side-hands tosses you a weird-looking helmet that has "tap-dancing translator" written on it and starts dancing. First it's an interpretive dance filled with dramatic pauses and facial expressions, then a flamenco dance that summons flames that engulfs much of the parade, and finally a tap dance done at an impossible speed that causes the stage to collapse... after 10 hours of tap dancing. Using the translator he gave you, you roughly translate what he says to; "HEYLO Nephew. Game of WIIIIIILLLLDDDD Chance, maybe, yes, maybe? I'll cure your drooling retard of a friend if you win, shake him like a baby until he's brand new. And if I win well... don't worry about that my little greenberry." Tap-dancing is a really inefficient language. What do?>I'll play >I don't care about that autist give me something else >I don't want to play >Write in (This was more of a nat100 result but I felt bad for the long breaks so I bumped up the 98 to a 100)
