>>5322707>>5322710This is interesting -- Perhaps we can materialize things other than just clothes if we concentrate somehow? Can we dream? Perhaps resting allows us some sort of extrasensory capability, like foresight or some kind of sixth sense? I am just throwing some ideas at the wall. I suggest that we experiment with /that/ a bit.
>>5322447>>5322573It's incredibly disrespectful to curse off and try to rules-lawyer the QM about their own quest because you want to play it like a personal power fantasy. He was quite clear in the beginning with what our limitations were and how he intended us to play the game.
>>5322912That is true, however that's still quite a risky leap in logic because it hinges on at least two things that come to mind:
a.) That there are no differences in opinion among wood creatures about consuming it. Similar to how /people/ relate to fine wine - due to dietary, religious, lifestyle, or moral reasons, some entities in the woods might take offense to a gift that is literal human suffering.
With the White Thing: they might love the stuff, or they might not. I am saying that we should try to get to know them a little bit better first before trying to share some of it with them.
I figure that the best case scenario is that it would be awkward like offering a vegan pacifist a cheeseburger, while at worst like offering a jihadist a bottle of whiskey.b.) That the circumstances in which the child was killed did not play a part in their reaction. After all, if the Rainbow saw through our attempt to play off the murder as intentional (and made fun of us for it), then why not the White Thing? Perhaps it was simply being lenient towards us because it also knew that it was an accident, or any reason.
On that note, you brought up an interesting point about where/how it acquired the gun and ammunition - without jumping to conclusions, perhaps it is more morally ambiguous than I presumed.
>cloak thingI was thinking purely aesthetics and personal taste, but I'm not particularly partial about it. I doubt though that a cloak would improve our movement speed, as it seems like our mobility problems are simply due to the frame's intentionally slow and clunky design itself.
>kill the squidThat was something we decided to explicitly avoid doing because we were not entirely sure what it was. One of the earlier phone calls by "S___" warned us about killing a powerful lake creature, and while we don't know the full consequences of doing so, I think we should trust him about it.
Sorry for the long post, m8.
