Far above, the Second Sun dances with His Brother Stars, casting the Light of Wisdom upon the broken Earth and scouring away the taint of the Black Sun Below. Far beneath the Astral Strata, below even the tides of Black Mist that bring mutation and madness to the Lowest Strata, that wretched hole in reality births demons and other, stranger things into the world. Each beast is an abomination against the Stars Above, and it is the duty and honor of every Mahou Shoujo among the Faithful to exterminate them upon sight.

Your name is <span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">Parva Symphonia</span></span>, and you are a holy maiden, diligent and pure. Up until recently, you have played the role of the attendant shrine maiden of the 1728th Astral Shrine - a small, backwater temple upon a nameless island adrift upon the aetheric tides that separate the Upper and Middle Stratum. You serve the will of your Holy Father Diligence, a star once believed to be extinguished, whose holy light returned to the world around the time that you were born. With the help of Sister April - your mother in all but blood - He has raised you beneath His Light since birth, diligently monitoring your physical, mental, and spiritual growth.
Even if some of his methods made Sister April wonder if it was Heresy to call a star a pervert. Was it <span class="mu-i">truly</span> necessary for you to perform every examination clad in light alone? But no matter how strange they were, every test did serve his greater purpose in raising you.

Dove</span></span> and teased him out of his shell with the help of advanced prayer methods. Together, the two of you slew a pair of seductive demons that had somehow gotten aboard his family's private airship - though you almost fell for their charm magic. You arrived at the Astral Academy shortly thereafter, only to hit it off with another girl who likes playing with her "food": <span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-r">Princess Claudia Natalia fon Widdelsbach</span></span>. She decided to host an impromptu tea party for you, Bear, and her friends on an overlook near the skydocks... which caused all of you to miss the Academy's Orientation.
