Humanity has fallen.

Their great folly, the creation of Abominable Intelligence, has brought about an age of eternal strife. Unending wars of millions of petty kingdoms are waged across the galaxy, and technology has been lost in a sheer weight never seen before. But there are few out there who still work hard on a solution, on bringing back order, on bringing back the glory of humanity.

And on the cursed planet of Aquimax, the Mechanicus fight a battle harder than in any other Forge World. Most knowledge there has been lost, the Tech-Priests have even lost all semblance of a calendar, but they still fight to regain the lands they lost, the tools that were long broken, and the code that was once sang in blessings of the Omnissiah.

But their enemies are terrible and many, cults that adore terrible gods who bring about pain, death, madness, and pestilence, a terrible warp storm that covers the sky and, if some of the older Tech-Priests are to be believed, grows ever closer to the planet, and mutants that rule almost all land near their territory.

With but a few dozens of Tech-priests left, no more than six hundred Skiitari, the Mechanicus seek tirelessly to overcome these odds, and maybe, if the Machine God finds mercy in his blessed code, you'll be the one to save them.
