In a world of what used to be thousands of gods, each so powerful and almighty that they got bored of the greatness that is eternity. So they made everything and all. And now they riot and maggots live in their corpses. Of angels, hand made by the very gods themselves to be protectors of the meek, savors of the land, and slayers of those who think themselves mighty. Now corpses, peacekeepers who imprison monsters in jails made of straw, and zealotry butchers mowing down weak like cattle. And then there’s Demiurges, oh great Demiurges. Great heroes of strength and virtue, who split the door that held them out in twain, and thus inherited the holy land as their reward. Such power, such grace, such royalty. Look at their power and grace! As they rape the land! Turn men into ghosts! Burn the solil! And claim the ash as their own! Look! At their royalty! Their golden chains they themselves put upon them! As they claim “I! Am! King! Look upon my crown, ye mighty, and despair!” as the shackles they made, bind their flesh! Taking their strength! Twisting their minds! And stealing their breath! Look! Look at our new gods! Look how magnificently they slaughtered themselves!

…So what are you?

Pitiful mass of bones and meat, who shall riot and decay no matter how many of the gods you may slay. Pathetic masked servant, oh such power and majesty to be a chained and shackled beast o’ burden. A divine of ash, soot and grime, waging a never ending fight on all sides, against both everyone and none. Or are you an immortal who shall never feel the touch of time, so you could sweep the streets forevermore.
