Your name is Pepe, and you are a Frog. You live in a small farmstead on the edge of the same valley as Wartwood. It has been 24 years since the great battle that saw the end of the reign of King Andrias Leviathan, the destruction of the Moon and with it the Core, and the beginning of the Republic. Contact was established on a new continent years back, and contact made with a primitive civilization of Olm-like amphibians called the Caecilians, lead by a giant of a caecilian by the name of Minhocao. Life has healed in Amphibia, and your family has done well growing crops. You live with your Mother and Father, and your little brother Peepo. Peepo has already lost his tail, and is now a full frog. As such, he and you have been hanging out more, occasionally going in to the Wartwood market to see the statue of the legendary human warrior Anne Bunchuy, and unbeknownst to you brother, ogle the hot 35 year old witch Maddie Flour. You are a young frog buck who recently reached 27 years of age, but you don't know if you have what it would take to impress her. You've always been a bit more physical of a Frog, but you'd be willing to slightly alter your dream of being a Hedge-Knight to that of being a Battlemage. Still, you doubt you have a chance with a girl like that. Peepo loves to visit the Planter homestead and listen to tales of adventure from Sprig Planter. Life is simple here in the valley, and you wouldn't want it any other way.
