<span class="mu-s">Welcome to Southtown.</span>
You, the people, will be narrating the trials and tribulations of one Ethan Carpenter, a highschool sophomore with a violent and otherwordly past on this quest to clean up Southtown, improve his fighting skills, and get revenge against his father's killer.
This will be borrowing themes and archetypes from sources such as: various fighting games (Southtown, duh), various beat 'em ups, vigilante/street level heroics (Netflix's Daredevil), and others. Southtown is very neo-80's; a sizeable city, neon glow, leather jackets, cool sunglasses at night, rock and roll and synthwave playing, and just about everybody knows how to fight. Ready? Let's get to it.
Ethan dreamed.
He dreamed of that serene place that he could barely recall. Green grass, flowing streams, a single peak, the stone temple, the trees, the simple houses, of standing right at the edge and looking down at the clouds below. Of Kun'Lun, a world he barely remembered. The Dragon's pocket dimension meant to serve as a place for learning and self improvement, to gain strength and wisdom.
He dreamed of that day when the ninjas garbed in black broke through the portal. Of being carried away by his father, Eric. The fires, the blood. Of how his mother and twin brother weren't there after Father had managed to slip through the portal.
